Use a number field to store numbers. Number fields will only understand legal numbers.
Use a picture field to store pictures pasted in from another application.
Use a Date/Time field to store a date, or a date and time. To enter a date and time, type separate the two strings with the character '@'
Use a time field to store times during the day, without storing the date.
Use a Note field to store a list of notes or references to notes. A Note field will help you find notes in the document, by searching for strings in a given field of a particular note type. Select this option, and then enter the note type and field below.
Use a Pop-Up field when you typically have one of a small number of strings for the value of the field. To set up the Pop-Up menu, enter each string on a line in the box below. You may always type other text into a Pop-Up field.
Use a file reference field to store the name and location of a file on one of your disks.
